Well after months of waiting, Grace Simone is finally here!! She was born Monday, March 8, 2010 at 11:15am and 8lb 5oz and 19 inches long. I kept telling my family that the little booger would decide to come the day before my scheduled c-section...and sure enough she did. We are now at home and Grace is very healthy and doing well. Although she doesn't have many of the Down Syndrome characteristics, there were a few that confirm her prenatal diagnosis. The good thing is that her hole in heart has closed up, so we really have no health related issues that they were warning us about prenatally to worry about at this time. She is just a sweet, quiet, angel baby. Her big brothers are very proud, and daddy is already wrapped around her little finger.
I can't thank everyone enough for all the words of encouragement and prayers as we awaited our little Grace.
